Here At The Sunflower Studio, I really care about our planet and try to be as sustainable as possible in what I do. The equipment available to you has been carefully sourced to support businesses who use responsible materials to design high quality items. I am learning every day and work hard to minimise my carbon footprint where possible.

Yoga mats
My yoga mats are from the lovely small business, Fable. Not only do they plant a tree for each mat that your purchase through organisation Tree Nation, but they also are made using biodegradable natural tree rubber. This means no toxins and harmful products are used in the making. Fable also ensure that their products are delivered in completely recyclable materials. I was really pleased that no plastic wrapping was in sight when I ordered these gorgeous mats, only tissue, paper and cardboard boxes. I invested in these beauties as I know they'll last a really long time!
Blocks, blankets and eye pillows
My cork blocks are from Yoga Matters. Not only are cork blocks more sustainable are they are made from natural materials (shredded oak) but they are also more durable. I always buy things with the hope that they last for a long time therefore I chose cork over foam blocks as these will hopefully last longer. My cosy organic cotton blankets are eye pillows are also from Yoga Matters. Although cotton is not the most sustainable of materials in terms of the carbon emissions of growing and harvesting, I have invested in these high quality items in the hope that they can be used time and time again and last for a long time.

Essential oils
I make up my own essential oil blends using responsibly sourced oils that are cruelty free, paraffin free and use pure essential oils without harsh chemicals. These can be refilled with new blends once empty and use time and time again.
I try to do everything I can to be a sustainable brand and reduce my carbon footprint. If you have any suggestions or feedback, I'd love to hear from you. You can contact Emily by email atthesunflowerstudio@gmail.com or message me on Instagram.
